Who runs this, and why it exists

TorBestMarkets is a directory, not a market. We do not sell anything, we do not hold your money, and we are not operated by any of the shops we list. The whole site has one job: keep an accurate, current list of the onion mirrors for the darknet markets that are actually running, and explain the parts that matter before you commit.

What we do

Track the published onion addresses for each active market and rebuild the list when a shop rotates.
Note what each shop accepts, how long it has been running, and the detail that sets it apart from the rest.
Write guides that cover the steps people get wrong, from installing Tor Browser to reading a vendor.

What we do not do

We do not guarantee any operator, escrow, or vendor behind a market. Uptime and trust are separate questions.
We do not rank markets by how much we like them. The list is ordered for usefulness, not for a score.
We do not run ads, sell data, or ask for an account. There is nothing to monetize except the list being right.

The rules we follow when listing a mirror

An address makes the list when it answers over Tor and matches what the market has published. It comes off the same day it stops answering. We prefer to leave a market out entirely rather than carry a dead address, because a dead link is the exact thing this site exists to remove.

The honest limitation: a directory can confirm an address is real. It cannot confirm the person behind it. That second check is yours to make, and no website, including this one, can do it for you.
